We dove into National Oyster Day with freshly-shucked oysters, tidal waves of tasty new twists, and bubbly at our second annual Shuck Yeah National Oyster Day shell-ebration!
First, we savored the classic, subtle flavors, bright minerality, and regional nuances of raw oysters on a half-shell — fresh-shucked with love, of course. Then, we sent waves of flavor across our taste buds with oysters atop a wood-fired artisan pizza, breaded in tacos, swimming in cocktails, deep-fried oysters, and even stuffed into a good old-fashioned vegan oyster mushroom po’boy.
It’s no doubt we siezed the day with flights of white and sparkling wines, each pour specially selected to enhance the delicate and briny notes of these pearly gems.
